28 Days Later

Intro

There is a disease spreading and you don’t even know it!!!! Unless you’ve been attacked by one of the infected, like in the 2003 release of Danny Boyle’s “28 Days Later”. I like these zombie/infection movies, they always remind me to make sure the person sitting next to me is NOT spitting out blood!!

Dialogue

The dialogue in the film is very good. Smart dialogue and it never gets boring, the best dialogue is the kind that keeps the film going and never slows down or gets too boring, this film has that.

Acting

The acting was great, there was a few parts where I thought it could have been better, but overall great performance, keeping it a great film.

Plot

The plot of the film can be seen in two ways. The first being that, for entertainment only, is a zombie/disease movie, much like the remake of “Dawn of the Dead”. The second being that it can be a warning; a warning to tell us that infectious diseases are out there and they can be right in front of us.

Music

Overall the music was good. It gave depth to the movie. The type of music varied depending on what was happening in each scene.

Overall

Overall a great film, one you wouldn’t be disappointed to see. One of the best horror films of the decade.
