I recently found a new DVD release for an old TV show that still today is one of my favorite cartoons of all time. This show was Rocko’s Modern Life, and it featured Rocko, a kangaroo wallaby (thanks commenter below! :) ) and his best friend, Heffer, a cow, in crazy day to day life.

The show was canceled on Nickelodeon, and then it stopped being aired a couple of years later – the only place you could watch the show was on NickToons, a channel where the old Nick cartoons are rerun.

I am excited to see that the show is finally being released on DVD. There are two volumes sold as separate DVDs, with Volume 1 containing seasons 1 and 2, then Volume 2 containing seasons 3 and 4. The two DVDs span all four seasons of this great show.

I will have to add this to my always-expanding Amazon.com wishlist! (aka stuff I plan to buy some time…when I get the cash to. =( )

    I loved this show, and every time I go to a friend's house that has Nicktoons, I try to watch it.
    Rocko's modernnn lifeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

  • That is awesome. I loved watching Rocko. That show cracked me up. It was one of the only shows I could watch with my ex-wife. Just another thing to add to my wish list as well Great find!
