Season’s greetings from SquidFlicks with this holiday edition of Weekend Box Office!

Take a seat and let SquidFlicks guide you to the top five movies this past week! In first place we have Jim Carrey’s latest comedy, Yes Man, grossing over $18.3 million. In second was Will Smith’s latest drama, Seven Pounds. It earned over $14.9 million this past weekend.

The Tale of Despereaux, based on the series of books by the very same name, placed third with $10.1 million in revenue.

Filling out the rest of the top five were The Day the Earth Stood Still, placing fourth with $9.9 million, barely below the $10 million mark, and long time contender Four Christmases, which placed fifth and took home $7.7 million.
