Will Smith is back, but what’s changed since Hancock and I Am Legend?
The answer? A lot. Smith has returned from his hiatus with a new drama film, 7 Pounds. The last movie of this drama that Smith starred in was The Pursuit of Happyness, which has been in the SquidFlicks to-be-reviewed list for some time now.
7 Pounds is from the same director of The Pursuit of Happyness, and since the first was a hit, I really think that 7 Pounds has great potential. Smith has been riding a streak of top-grossing movies for quite a while, and I don’t think the gravy train will end here.
The premise of the movie is that Ben Thomas (Smith), an IRS agent with a secret helps seven totally random strangers change their lives forever. All he asks for in return is that they never contact him or ask any questions, and that they answer when he calls for them.
Sounds like a great story to me, what do you think?
